Alicia Keys in Concert! 5.14.08

Wednesday 5.14.08: We headed to Grand Prairie Texas to see Alicia Keys who performed at the NOKIA theater. You can not go wrong at any seat here and what a nice place for Alicia and Jordan to perform - we sat in section EEE. Jordan Sparks opened up for Alicia and what a lovely soul with strong vocals!

Alicia Keys sang her soul out to us~ She talked & walked us through her life with her music and shared family photos on the screens. I was blowen away from her gift of music and breathe taking beauty~ What an outstanding and gifted performer... So, people - If you get a chance to see Alicia, please do!

Thursday 5.15.08: On our way back to Austin, we stopped in Temple for a bite at Las Casas Restaurant & Patio- First time here...we sat out in the patio area and the only thing missing was the lake!!! A very cool & fun atmosphere, you must visit their website to see the patio area - I tried a bit of their white wings and Oh, my....Deeeelicious! The margaritas are tasty- just like the food!!! I will definitely be back to try out more food on the menu - So, stop in if your passing through~
