Well, it is that time again - Kairos Prison Ministry #48 at the Ferguson Unit! I'm looking forward to my 2nd walk here, Dec 30.2009 - Jan 3.2010. Ahhh, the baking of LOTS of cookies - yep, even the slightly burnt ones!

Shoreline East Thanksgiving - Sat.11.21.09

Saturday, I headed out to volunteer at Shoreline East to celebrate a Thanksgiving feast! Soooo many volunteers came out to help serve thanksgiving to the homeless and to enjoy some awesome worship! Lots of grateful hearts!

Sleeping bags and backpacks were also distributed to our guest!

Shoreline East Ministry Sat 8.8.09

Shoreline East is an outreach ministry to the homeless and broken hearted of East Austin. Every Saturday @ Emmanuel Methodist Church East 2nd street and I-35 from 1- 230pm, volunteers meet at 1230pm -

There was Worship, Prayer requests, Volunteers served water, tea, and food to the homeless + Clothes were distributed + there was enough. What an amazing experience + yep, it was hot. Here are some images from my point + shoot camera.

Meals on Wheels - Handy Wheels 5.10.08

Every 2nd week of the Month, Meals on Wheels (MOW) Handy Wheels takes place. I began again to donate my time to the Community and it is a personal reward everytime! If your giving back, AWESOME! If your not, began your journey helping others with your gift that has been given unto you~

Dec 2007 Outreach

Dec 7 & 8th 2007: The Austin Cornerstone Church gather together and we headed to Del Rio and Acuna Mexico for an outreach~ It was an awesome spiritual journey and boy~what a gift these individuals gave me! Thanks Faith Mission!!!
